it was Jordan's 30th birthday last week so naturally we went to our favorite sushi house to celebrate. this date was extra special because it was the first time we had gone out for a sushi date (one of our favorite things to do together), since July. because of life the last 4 months we simply did not have the time or money to go on a nice dinner date. so for Jordan's birthday i took him to Miracle and told him to get whatever he wanted.

going on sushi dates has always been something that Jordan and i have done together. it started when we were dating. Jordan was actually the person to introduce me to sushi. my first sushi experience was on his 24th birthday. (wow! has it been that long!?) we went to his favorite sushi house at the time, Maneki Neko, with his parents. something you should now about me is that i will pretty much try anything food related once; even baby octopus, (it was chewy). so i ate a lot of sushi that day and have loved trying new things ever since.
years later Jordan told me that he knew i was the girl for him when i popped that baby octopus in my mouth. we have been eating sushi together ever since.
Happy Birthday to the love of my life. i wouldn't want to do life with anyone else.
